Modern Soulmate AU. At 12:28 AM, King Thorin Oakenshield’s soul-mark is revealed amidst the throngs of paparazzi. The morning after, Professor Bilbo Baggins finds his soul-mark plastered on every magazine, television, and social media there is. The proper thing left to do is, of course, claim the mark as his. It would be easy if only most of Middle Earth isn’t claiming the same.
